Under Construction

Since 2011, we have worked to update and expand our planting space. The longer we garden, the more we want to plant. Here are some pictures of our latest brick beds under construction. We decided to build with brick because it will last. The wood was nice, and free, but after awhile it warped. Andy tore out the last wooden bed on the side yard and replaced it with brick. He also created a skinny bed along the fence, directly on the driveway. This bed replaces the numerous black buckets that we had lining the fence. In addition to the bed we already had on the side yard, Andy edged our non-veggie beds with shorter stacked brick. This space is for our berry patch.
